Valentine's day is just around the corner and here are some inspirations for my readers.

No. 1 - In Love Mini/Card; 6"x9" cardstock & some scrap pattern paper


(This heart was made from a plastic box that my Cricut cartridge came in. I used Tim Holtz's embossing folder, rubbed some black & gold acrylic paint and red stickles, add black & white enamel for more texture.)

No. 2 - "U R My #1 Fan" tag

If the love of your life likes to read this would make a perfect surprise to sneak in his book. Make sure to add some hand written notes to the back of the tag!

No. 3 - Nails Art

If I can do it you can! Make sure to take your time ... you are not winning anything here for being speedy!

Like I said I haven't really done much as far as crafting goes much less anything else.

Oh and look what's still on my desk!!!!
I have so much to catch up with. I haven't even printed out any Christmas pictures for the mini yet. I might have to save it for next year. I'm really not in a Christmas mood right now even though I love Christmas!

Sparkly Cards

Dear Stampendous,

I want to thank you for making the most amazing SPAAAAAAAAAAARKLY embossing powder ever! I loove looove that the minute I heat set it the glitter isn't coming off! I must admit I love sparkly stuff but most if not all of the glitter stuff comes off easily. (Teresa and Julie knows what I'm talking about - *wink*)


Too bad there are only a handful of colors available. Please make more dang it!!!!

Quilted Lambie Card

This card would be great to go along with a homemade baby quilt. Don't ask me when the baby blanket will be done. =)

Do not waste your scraps ladies! Turn them into a quilt mat and put it through your die cutting machine. In this case I used my Cricut Expression. Make sure you choose a solid image or a simple image so you can get the best effect! Have fun!

- From my Kitchen Cartridge
- DCWV Safari Kids Stack
- 1 piece of any cardstock (mat)
- Mini Red Christmas Bell
- Embroidery Floss
- Vintage Photo Distress Ink
- Uni-ball Signo Gel Pen (white)




















Here's a close up of the card. I used the 3D foam dimension and faux stitch around the lambie. Isn't he so cute?!

Geometrically Inspired

I just wanted to share my excitement with all of you. I got a Gypsy!!!!!! I'm so excited and I've been playing with my new toy for a couple of days now. I must say I love it more than I could have ever imagined! The funny thing was I didn't want one because the size of the screen and also lacks many features that are in SCAL. After playing with it you need BOTH; they work hand in hand.

I got inspired by these images to create a geometric background for my card.

Pennant Banners Card: You & Me

Here's a quick card that I made earlier tonight. I love the tangerine & blue combo.
With a little help from the sewing machine to add the finishing touches. It looks very homemade and that's why I love it so much.

This card is a great way to use up all of your scraps. I know we all have a huge stash of them!

Stuck

Have you ever feel like creating something but stuck on what to make? Well that was me the other night. I was in a creative mood but didn't know what to make. Where else would a girl turn to? Of course Google. Lets just say I love Google... not in love with Google but loooove looove love Google! I searched some random keywords; flowers, jewelry, dress, blah blah blah. I searched and searched and searched and nothing speaks to me. FINALLY I came across these "scallopy" goodness! Yes "scallopy!"

So from there I thought I should make some cards with scalloped theme. Well duh that's easy! Or so I thought! First thing that came to my mind was to use my scalloped border punch. I told myself I can do better than that and this was a personal challenge for the night. Off I went.

I hope these ideas will spark your interests and get you going on your projects.
